I bought a Barrio DT Sink Tip line a short time ago. This new line flies through the guides, without putting your shoulder into it, fantastic line for the grilse.
Best line out there bar none, thus they sell out so fast. Great line Mike!

This line is fantastic. I use it on Cape Cod kettle pods for large trout.
You can't get a line like this in the US because our brands are only interested in producing overweight weight forward lines with short heads.
This line gives me the advantage of a DT with the bonus of a sink tip. I can't say enough good things about it.
I currently have the 5wt, but I will soon be ordering a 4wt.

My faith in sink tip lines is restored! I tried sink tip lines from reputable makers over a few decades and have always been disappointed with the poor presentation - the sink tip 'slap' as they used to call it.
Being a devotee of the Mallard floating line I thought I'd give the sink tip another try. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the presentation with Mike's s/t line is superb. No 'slap' and the tip turns over just as nicely as the Mallard floater.
I used the #5 s/t last week on a medium sized river where conditions dictated an across and down approach. Casting and mending was a delight and a few grayling and trout found the gold head nymph point and Black Pennell dropper to their liking. Looking forwards to a bit of still water nymphing with this great line. Thank you Mike.

I am very pleased with the Sink Tip line, it is comfortable to cast and has no 'slap' at all, I use the line for stillwater using nymphs or small streamers with a #4 rod, and the sink rate is perfect for my kind of fishing.
.... and I think this is the only sink tip line on the market with a slow sink rate in #4, thanks for making this line in #4 Mike.

Superb line, casts straight with no memory and an easily controlled sink rate.
Have used Barrio lines for a few seasons now and would highly recommend. Excellent value, very fast delivery and at no additional cost!

Excellent line, very little line memory, casts easily with good loop turnover and gets down to the area where fish are likely to be in early season.
My third great Barrio line and I'll not be buying from any other supplier.
Thanks Mike.
PS: Enjoying the great little fly box, a lovely tactile wooden creation.

Very fast, good clear messaging, excellent service. Bought a 7 wt sink tip to use on a 10ft 6 wt rod for seatrout fishing.....tried it last night, handles beautifully, fast easy loading and no messy water slapping, ideal.
I look forward to catching a seatrout on it when they get round to playing the game!
